How SSB Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2023 Will Choose People
The Choosing Process Will Be Done in Three Steps, Which Are as Follows:
Stage I: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Stage II: The written test.
Stage III: Document Verification
Stage –IV: Trade Test

SSB Tradesman Pet 2023 (Physical Efficiency Test)
There will be a Race for the positions of Constable (Driver, Laboratory Assistant, Veterinarian, Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Tailor, Collier, Gardner, Cook, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier, and Waiter).
- 4.8 Km in 24 Minutes for male applicants
- 2.4 Km in 18 Minutes for women candidates
SSB Constable Tradesman Bharti 2023 Exam Pattern
Those who pass the Physical Standard Test (PST) will have to take the Written Examination, which will be held as follows:
Common Entrance Test (CET): CET will be given for all positions. It will last for 2 hours and have 100 multiple-choice questions that focus on general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning, and general English/Hindi.
The Minimum Score Needed to Pass the Written Test Will Be:
- 50% Marks for Ex-Servicemen, General, EWS, and OBC
- 40% for SC & ST
Documentation and Skills Test for SSB Tradesman Constable
After the written test, a call list of up to 20 times the number of openings will be made of people who need to go through the documentation process before taking the skill test. This will be done by a Board of Officers and Secretarial Staff, as SSB has explained.
All of the original documents that the candidates said they had when they filled out the online application will be checked and the candidates will be asked to provide properly certified copies of the same documents to put in their dossiers.
